In the spirit of the Young Persons’ Bioethics Manual, and following the introduction of gender notions in 11th grade science manuals, the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation has published Gender theory and life and earth sciences at school: decoding 11th grade manuals.
This 40-page booklet contains a comprehensive and substantiated enquiry into the content and meaning of the famous chapter “Becoming a woman or a man” introduced into school manuals.
It brings young people a viewpoint that allows them to discern between what truly belongs to legitimate “life and earth sciences” and what belongs to an ideology.
Gender theory and life and earth sciences at school: decoding 11th grade manuals also comments on the exercises and comments proposed to pupils, as well as the visuals and their captions.
Illustrations by the famous drawing artist Brunor facilitate understanding.
