From April 2014 to April 2015, the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation will be celebrating “20 years of scientific and ethical challenges”. Many events will be organized to commemorate both Jérôme Lejeune’s death (3rd of April 1994) and the creation of the Foundation (April 1995): expositions, conferences, debates, publications…

1 year to celebrate Jérôme Lejeune, a doctor and researcher who defended the life of unborn babies. 1 year to support the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation and Institute which are carrying on the professor’s ambition: to cure people who have a genetic intellectual disability, find a treatment for them and fight for what is at stake on a bioethical level.

Keenan Kampa, a dancer in the Mariinsky ballet company of St Petersburg is the godmother of this commemorative year: a symbol of grace and beauty at the service of the weakest, a symbol of rigor and inspiration at the service of science.

The programme of events will regularly be updated here and given out via Facebook and twitter. The ambassador for the 20 year olds: Interview Keenan Kampa
