For the international conference of the research society for Down Syndrome from 4th to 7th June, the greatest names of research were present in Paris. They started off visiting the Jérôme Lejeune Institute and Foundation, located rue des Volontaires. What a wonderful opportunity for them to open their doors and present the fruit of 20 years of work!

In all, 60 researchers from all over the world were given the opportunity of an exclusive visit. All the members of the Foundation and of the Institute were present to greet the guests and show them around.

The researchers visited the consultation and treatment rooms of the Institute, but also the laboratory and biological resource centre BiojeL. The managing director, Thierry de Villejégu, then presented the Foundation, and reminded them all of the various missions of the Foundation, in line with Jérôme Lejeune’s Legacy.

The many researchers present were able to see for themselves how important the Institute and Foundation are for the promotion of medical research at an international level: a role they have taken on together over the last 20 year!
