With spring comes the end of the celebrations for the 20 years of the Foundation and of Jérôme’s death: what a wonderful year we have spent together!
I have had the great joy of seeing again or meeting many of you during the various events that marked the year in Arras, Lyon, Laval, Paris, and Strasbourg and here I am speaking only of the main events. I was able to take part in a great number of them but unfortunately I lacked time to answer all the invitations. Indeed, many of you organised meetings to raise funds in order to help research progress and make the work of the Foundation known: sales, plays, conferences, golf tournaments, races…
I badly want to travel through France and be with you at all these events you organise with so much generosity!
The number of events that are organized fill me with joy even though my agenda does not allow me to be there every time.
It just shows that 20 years after the Foundation was created its work is still topical, and more importantly, there are many of you who want to carry on Jérôme Lejeune’s work. And for me, that is the best of gifts.
