By different actions, helped by a panel of experts through the international Scientific Advisory Board, the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation funds every year researchers from all countries and international research units for more than 20 years to searching on Down syndrome and Intellectual Disabilities from genetic origin.

Some different funding proposals (Call for Projects, Postdoctoral application, and different awards for young researchers …) are proposed to internal researchers as presented within this website to reach Jérôme Lejeune’s goal and your goal.
The proposal could be fundamental, translational and/or clinical. The Research projects have to be focused on Down syndrome , and on other Intellectual deficiencies from genetic origin. Down syndrome is our main focus.

Clinical Research is an important part of the Research, mainly conducted in association with the Institute Jérôme Lejeune. The Jérôme Lejeune Institute takes care of more than 10,000 patients.
