The Sisley-d’Ornano and Jerome Lejeune Foundations will be jointly funding a postdoctoral position for academic research. The research should be dedicated to bettering our understanding of
- “Down syndrome and cross pathologies”, i.e. pathologies occurring both in Down syndrome and in the general population such as (but not exclusively limited to) Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism, oncology and hematology…
Moreover, in addition to the above postdoctoral fellowship, the Jerome Lejeune Foundation funds two other postdoctoral fellowships, linked to Down syndrome, which purposes are the following ones:
- “Hypotonia in Down syndrome, central and/or peripheral origin?”
- “Genes interaction linked to Down syndrome cognition”
This process conforms with the European Charter for Researchers to be found at European Charter
For the three postdoctoral fellowships, the work will have to start in 2021 or early 2022.
